Insulated Fire Windows
Designed specifically to protect life and property against the risk of flame and heat transmission, Pyropanel insulated fire windows are the ideal choice for use in fire escapes, fire walls, fire corridors, internal and external facades, external building walls, or any application where protection against both flames and heat is required.
All insulated windows also use either the Pyropanel-Forster insulated steel framing system, or the Pyropanel fire rated timber framing system, and are suitable for internal and external applications. There are a variety of profiles designed to suit most glazing applications and classifications under the Building Code of Australia, and all products are certified to the relevant Australian Standard. The insulated steel glass systems are available in either steel frames suitable for powder coating or painting, or high grade Stainless Steel frames, and are available as single or multi-lite assemblies up to a maximum pane size of approx 2800mm x 1400mm.
Timber framed fire windows achieve an FRL of -/60/30 using 18mm Pilkington Pyrostop®, and are available as single and multilites up to a huge 3.3m2 per pane.
- -/60/30 using 18mm (int/ext) Pilkington Pyrostop®
- -/60/60 using 23mm (int) or 27mm (ext) Pilkington Pyrostop®
- -/90/90 using 18+6+23 (47mm) Pilkington Pyrostop®
- -/120/120 using 23mm+6+23 (52mm) or 27+6+23 (56mm) Pilkington Pyrostop®
All insulated fire rated glazed doors and windows utilise Pilikington Pyrostop® insulated fire glass in a variety of thicknesses, all of which are tested to AS2208 for impact resistance, and provide excellent acoustic performance
