The Pyrosleeve “RS 20” is an intumescent fire collar manufactured from zincalume rust resistant steel. The rectangular unit contains layers of Intumex “L” intumescent material which is activated in the event of a fire and crushes the pipe preventing the passage of flame and hot gases within minutes. Application Suitable for use in floor and walls to fire rate uPVC, Polyethylene, Polypropylene, H.D.P.E. and ABS pipes passing through fire compartment walls and floors in: • High-rise construction • Flats, townhouses and apartments • Civil projects • Power stations • Fume cupboard exhaust systems (up to 315mm nominal pipe size)     Fire Test Data Pyrosleeve “RS 20” fire collars have been fully tested and approved to AS 1530 Part 4, 1997 and can achieve a fire resistance rating of up to four (4) hours depending on the construction element it is installed in. Pyrosleeve “RS 20” Features • Approved for floor (soffit mounted) and wall applications for masonry wall installations. • Pyrosleeve “RS 20” fire collars can be fixed by 6mm masonry anchors or 5 x 25mm metal spikes.     Product Warranty All Pyrosleeve “RS 20” fire collars have a twenty five (25) year product warranty on the intumescent material contained in the fire collar. Smoke Seal If a smoke seal is required use Pyropanel® Multiflex sealant in accordance with the manufacturers instructions.
