 In 1990 the old Queensland Treasury Building underwent a major refurbishment, transforming into the Treasury Casino. To remain faithful to the existing design and décor Pyropanel Heritage fire rated doors were installed. The locally manufactured doors had specially veneered faces of QLD maple, and were finished with a dark stain resembling aged timber. Approved mortice locks were fitted and gold finish furniture used, in keeping with the historical aspects of the building. |
