Pyrosleeve® "Cast-In" fire collars are manufactured from a high impact plastic casing to house intumescent material which is activated in the event of fire, crushing the plastic pipe and sealing against the passage of flame and hot gases. The intumescent material is unaffected by water or atmospheric influences and industrial environments, and is also resistant to dilute acids, alkalis, paints and conventional construction materials, such as gypsum, lime, cement and adhesives. Application Suitable for use in fire rating plastic pipes passing through floors in: • High-rise construction • Flats, townhouses and apartments • Civil projects • Health care and aged care facilities     Fire Test Data Pyrosleeve® "Cast-In" fire collars have been tested and approved to AS1530 Part 4, 1997 and AS4072 Part 1, 1992 and can achieve a two (2) hour fire resistance rating in concrete floors.
